Valedictorian Speech

Good Morning, principals, teachers, parents, and honorable guests. In this special morning, all of us are assembled with the same feeling and desire, as today, we, the graduates of 2015, are finishing one of the most important stages of our lives, which we will always keep in our hearts and minds. We culminate an academic stage, where we acquire knowledge, necessary for our daily lives. Yet, the most important thing was having the opportunity of living personal experiences, which made us learn, think and work situations, which we probably, would have never imagined. Those things will be sealed in our hearts forever.

We had five years full of sacrifice, obligations, responsibilities, efforts and perseverance, that each of us added to our daily lives. Among these things, were: our first drama and our first GC Day. We met new teachers, we had field trips, visited schools, we were part of contests, activities, we made an unforgettable entrance, an inspirational motto, the first beneficial night, a social work full of potential and many won football games, but eventually, it was time to have the last drama day, the last GC Day, the last activity, the last class and the last day as classmates. And now, we are here, ready to move forward and take different paths in this world. It is a great achievement to be here today, thanks to our parents, who through daily sacrifice took a different responsibility, a responsibility filled with love and desire of giving the best to their sons and daughters. But everything would have been possible without God’s help, who gave us the ability, capacity and intelligence to fulfill each tasks presented to us daily. Not only did he give us our parents, but also united our lives with people, that probably knows us better than we know ourselves. With them, we shared happiness, sadness, triumphs and love. They not only taught us academics skills, but also skills for life and how to affront them. They showed us that happiness is in our hearts and we should act as kids with a genuine. Also, they demonstrate us that a serious face, is the beginning of the happiness in the heart. That waiting brings good results. But most of all, they demonstrated, how a student can be part of a teacher’s life, and be the best thing, they have each day. Our teachers, will be unforgettable examples to follow, for many.

Seniors 2015, we were a unique grade, in many aspects and that was something, we always had in our school years. It is my biggest desire that uniqueness will always remain in your lives, so it will make each one of you different, and help you show, that your life cannot be compare to the lives of the rest of the world. Uniqueness, will allow all of you to become men and women entrepreneurs of truth, humility and simplicity. Success will come, in everything you do with hard loving work. Remember, you will be physically alone in the world, and there’s going to be only one right path which God has for you. Remember: the walks of your failure will be the stairs to success. It’s time. It’s time to fly and to fly high, but never forget, where your feet were before lifting off.
