ORAL EXAM  ( ENGLISH 3 )

1.Introduce yourself ( name, last name, etc). Preséntese (nombre, apellido, etc.)

My name is Katherine I am 22 years old. I live in ventanilla with my parents. I like listening to music.

2.Describe your family tree ( answer the questions for example : how old is your father? What´s your father´s sister name ? etc).    

Describe tu árbol genealógico ¿qué edad tiene tu padre? ¿Cuál es el nombre de la hermana de tu padre?

The members of my family are( los miembros de mi familia son)

3.Describe your favorite relative or somebody who is important to you ( answer questions for example : what does he do? where does he live? ,etc ) ( questions -book page 9- anecdote)

Describa a su familiar favorito o alguien que sea importante para usted, por¿qué hace él, dónde vive?,

My favorite person is my mom. my mother is a good listener, she is very understanding(mi madre es buena oyente, ella es muy comprensiva)

4. What ways can you think of to help remember and learn new English words?

De qué maneras puedes pensar para ayudar a recordar y aprender nuevas palabras en inglés?

5. Mention some examples using : LOOK (S) LOOK(S) LIKE  . Look at some pictures and make those examples.Mencione algunos ejemplos usando: MIRAR (S) MIRAR (S) COMO. Mire algunas fotos y haga esos ejemplos.

6. Why are you learning English? What kind of dictionary do you have? How do you practice English at home? What do you enjoy doing in class?

Porque estas aprendiendo ingles? ¿Qué tipo de diccionario tienes? ¿Cómo practicas el inglés en casa? ¿Qué disfrutas hacer en clase?

8.Describe a city ( using so – very – too- such a/an) ( answer questions: example :which is your favorite city? Why ?   Example : It´s Lima, because there are so interesting places to visit.

Describe una ciudad (usando tan - muy - demasiado) como respuesta (por ejemplo: ¿cuál es tu ciudad favorita? ¿Por qué? Ejemplo: es Lima, porque hay lugares tan interesantes para visitar.

9.Think about a city. Answer : How´s the weather ?, what are the people like? what´s the nightlife like? What are the stores like?

Piensa en una ciudad. Respuesta: ¿Cómo está el clima? ¿Cómo es la gente? ¿Cómo es la vida nocturna? ¿Cómo son las tiendas?

10.Answer questions with how much and how many.For example : how many emails do you send every day? How much water do you drink in a  day? ….

Responda preguntas sobre cuánto y cuántos. Por ejemplo: ¿cuántos correos electrónicos envía todos los días? ¿Cuánta agua bebes en un día?

11. What is the best place you´ve ever visited? (questions book page 17- anecdote)

¿Cuál es el mejor lugar que has visitado?

12.When was the last time you were in an art gallery? (castle , church, library…etc)

¿Cuándo fue la última vez que estuvo en una galería de arte? (castillo, iglesia, biblioteca ... etc.)

13.Explain the love story of your parents, grandparents, or someone you know.

     Example : My parents met in the university 20 years ago. They dated for 5 months, then…..

  Answer questions using past tense: Example :Did they get married ?.....

Explica la historia de amor de tus padres, abuelos o alguien que conoces.

     Ejemplo: Mis padres se conocieron en la universidad hace 20 años. Salieron por 5 meses, luego ...

  Responda preguntas usando el tiempo pasado: Ejemplo: ¿Se casaron? .....

14. Mention the past tense of the verbs : keep- kept, mean- meant, begin- began….etc

Mencione el tiempo pasado de los verbos: keep-kept, mean-meant, begin- started ... .etc

15.Answer : what were you doing yesterday? Example :at 6:00 am I was taking a shower….

¿que estabas haciendo ayer? Ejemplo: a las 6:00 am me estaba bañando ...
