GDP per capita is a very good indicator of the standard of living in the country, which places it in the 27th position of the 196 countries in this ranking; the last annual rate of change of the CPI is August 2017 and was 0.9%.

The crisis has generated unemployment and uncertainty, and although unemployment has declined, purchasing power is low.

General aspects of culture:

France stands out for being the cultural center in Europe especially the city of Paris, its diversity in art, architecture and music, were important factors that attracted new talents.

The influence of wealth through the monarchy, also allowed the artistic development, in this country, even with styles that still remain; in the literature stands out Victor Hugo, in the sculpture Auguste Rodin, and others like Picasso and Matisse.

The evolution of culture in this country extended to aspects such as football, and in cycling by the representative Tour de France.

Culture of doing business:

Relationships are based on respect, courtesy, trust and formality; appointments are scheduled two weeks in advance between 9 and 7 pm, as executives prefer informal business appointments.

They do not like to involve the work with the personal reason why it is important not to be so friendly and to present always using the word: enchanted (a); gifts are not common so they are used more in Christmas seasons, and it is customary to give wine, books, chocolates, among the most common.
