IV. Christian principles and Life Lessons:
Christian principles:
1-love:
•Just like Jesus loves us because we are his children, Jack loves Sam because he is his son and would do anything for him.
2-prayer:
• The main character uses the phrase "hope and pray" when asked what to do about the huge hurricane.
3-hope/faith:
• Jack had hoped in finding his son, and Sam had hope and faith that Jack would find him. Just like this, we need to have faith that Jesus will come for us.
Life lesson:
1-determination:
• We see the determination when Jack, Sam's father, does everything in his power to reach his son.
2-bravery:
• Bravery is seen one Sam goes to the ship looking for Laura's penicillin.
3-however bad situation is, it will change
• Even thought they had 3 hurricanes causing destruction, at the end the Earth came to a balance and everything was settled down.
4-protection of the environment
•Now that we've seen what effects global warming has, although it was fiction, we can take precautions so we never get to that level.
