The final point of the effectiveness is how this will affect the people, so we have to look for a safe place to build it, seems pretty easy, huh? , Well at first looking for a place that would not affect the people is not difficult task, but there are many other problems we must bear in mind, the company will have some needs just as people, building a company too far will affect the people that work there because of the transport and building it too close will affect all the people with the waste, so we need an “ideal” place that have the needs of the company and the needs of the people, to know this we have to make an environment impact evaluation, a life cycle test and an environment risks evaluation, with these 3 we can find the best place in better time to take care of the people and the environment.
The second big problem for an engineer is to enlarge the social innovation when it’s ready because when we have a place that has no companies it’s a little bit easy to build a social friendly one despite the needs of this, there is always at least one way to do an alternative process or adapt the one that we already have, but when it’s a place that already have companies we meet two big problems:
- The companies that are already build won’t invest on a social one because they will have a big period without work and for the monopolies ones would be a big money loss, because they would have to pay more jobs, new machines and new structure.
- Because the place it’s already “taken” the space for a social company is very tight or sometimes obsolete, so we have no way to build it.
The structure solution is pretty easy, as we said before a social company have very much adaptability, but fight against a monopoly is a big deal, but little by little we can adapt a “bad” company to be a social friendly one, but it’s a long and hard way, despite this, the social innovation is a real thing nowadays and I like to think that someday not so far we will have a world with only social friendly innovations that will make it a better place to live.
