the last few decades, many of the indicators and studies have pointed out that global

warming has been alarming globally. The IPCC's Summary Report for Policymakers

published in October 2013 states: "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal,

and since the 1950s many of the changes observed are unprecedented in tens of

thousands of years. The atmosphere and oceans have warmed, ice and snowfall has

declined, sea level has increased, and concentrations of greenhouse gases have

increased. "You can appreciate the temperature changes through NASA images:

What causes global warming?Temperatures on Earth are life-enhancing thanks to a

natural process called the greenhouse effect. When the solar radiation reaches our

atmosphere, part of it is reflected to the space, and part of it passes and is absorbed

by the Earth. This causes the surface of the Earth to become hot. The heat is

radiated outward and absorbed by the gases present in the Earth's atmosphere, the

so-called "greenhouse gases". This process prevents the heat from disappearing,

causing the temperature to rise + 15 ° C instead of -19 ° C.

There are many greenhouse gases responsible for additional warming of the

atmosphere, which are produced in different ways by people. Most come from the

combustion of fossil fuels from cars, factories and electricity production. The gas

responsible for most of the warming is carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Other

contributors are methane expelled from landfills and agriculture (especially from the

digestive systems of grazing animals), nitrous oxide from fertilizers, gases used for

refrigeration and industrial processes, and from the loss of forests another form

would store CO2.
