WORKER: In *Aisle 1 sir, to your left on the top shelf next to the potatoes.

Andres: Thanks. Oh! And avocados?

WORKER: You’ll find them also in Aisle 1. On the right, opposite the tomatoes.

Mary: Where can I find the “meats” section?

MARIO: Yes, it’s in the Back Aisle, against the wall and next to the “Deli” section.

Mary: ahh Ok thanks Mario. See you later.

MARIO: you’re welcome. Bye Mary.

Peter: Hi Mishel, can you make a favor?

Mishel: of course my friend.

Peter. Where can I find the candies?

Mishel: yeah. It is in the Aisle 2, to your right in front of cereal.

Peter: thanks my friend.

Mary: where can I find frozen food, please?

Worker: It is in Aisle 5 to your left in front of cleaners.

Mary: Thanks, oh and the “Deli” section?

Worker: You’ll find it in back Aisle, between “meats” and “fish” section.

Mary: Thanks sr.

Unit 2.4. At the restaurant

ASSIGNMENT: This is an off-line activity. Make up two more dialogues using this menu or another one of your own with typical food of your country. Follow the same structure or order as this dialogue but add your own vocabulary.

WAITER: Would you like to order, now?

Peter: Yes, I’ll have I’d like the chicken and a side order of corn.

WAITER: And what would you like to drink?

Peter: Yes, I would like a cup of coffee, please

WAITER: Would you like to order?

Sara: I’ll take the spaghetti and a salad.

Waiter: (See Peter) Would you like something for dessert?

Peter: Yes, I’ll have the cake, please.

Waiter: And you?

Sara: No, thanks.

Waiter: What would you like to drink?

Sara: Just water, please. Waiter: Ok, I come back in some minutes with your order.

Waiter: Would you like to order, now?

Andres: Yes. I would like a juice of orange, please.

Jane: And I will have the same please.

Waiter: OK 2 juices of orange. Would you like something else?

Andres: I will have the chicken soup to start, and a “bandeja paisa”

Waiter: ok, and you?

INTRODUCCIÓN

La termodinámica es la rama de la física que describe los estados de equilibrio a nivel macroscópico. Los estados de equilibrio son estudiados y definidos por medio de magnitudes extensivas tales como la energía interna, la entropía, el volumen o la composición molar del sistema, o por medio de magnitudes no-extensivas derivadas de las anteriores como la temperatura, presión y el potencial químico entre otras.

En este trabajo se pretende desarrollar habilidades para la comprensión análisis y desarrollo de problemas de aplicación de transferencia de calor además aplicación de la primera ley de la termodinámica, conocida como la conservación de la energía, la finalidad es que el estudiante proponga un ejercicio donde se puedan aplicar conceptos aprendidos
