MY SINGING DREAM

Who would have thought that I could make a living by making music? This is the story about a boy who didn’t know that music was going to be the engine of his life.

Everyday Julio listened to his parents saying that a career is necessary to be able to face the world, this globalized world which changes every second.

One day Julio could get in to the university to study administration, every career curricula ordered to have hours going to an artistic workshop, it was going to change his life. Julio asked for the list of workshops and decided to choose the CHOIR, because he thought it was the easiest and has always heard the choir music in a church.

The day arrived, first choir class. However, it was just a big disappointment. The teacher gave him some papers with some strange things printed on it; what were all those creepy signs?

Although Julio didn’t expect that high level of musical skills as a demand, he just kept on going to class. He could also realize that administration courses were hard as well.

Miss Angelita, choir director, told Julio to sing an aria (song), he didn’t know how to do, In spite of saying a big NO, he decided to do it. Julio opened his mouth and did what he never thought possible, he had been born to sing. Julio could not believe all the applauses he was listening to, he sang as a great tenor. In addition to that, Miss Angelita told him that a voice like his is not common in a hundred years.
