1 My contribution to safety, compliance and risk management

My priorities will:

- Relate to my job in enhancing safety, ensuring compliance, and identifying and managing risk.

- Reference Operating Management System (OMS) or relevant functional standards.

Safety:

+ Increase knowledge of HSSE in BP.

+ Identify and record 9 HSSE events in BP Solar, with particular focus on risks in Global Operations and Global Procurement business activities related with my areas of competence

Compliance:

Define a global standard methodology for cash cost accounting and reporting, based on Group accounting policies for cost recognition and agreed with Global Finance & Consolidations. Measured by delivery of a presentation outlining proposed changes by end May 2011 to my line manager and by taking ownership of implementation with regional controllers on the second half of the year ( target completion date is end Sept'11).

respecto a este objetivo creo que hemos hecho un buen trabajo, que con el tema de la consultoría que está pendiente los va a agilizar bastante, lo único que me preocupa es quizás la falta de contenido que pueda tener fuera de las fechas de reporting, con respecto a los controllers cada vez voy teniendo más contacto con todos ellos.
