The person who has two jobs to survive also have no time to rest or eat well and this can result in a health problem. Health is a serious issue and people are not taking care of themselves the way it should be because they have to take care of others first. Other people may be parents, children, couple or friends. The appointments are hard to get because there are not enough doctors for each specialty, the cost of the laboratories, the cost of the x-rays, the MRI’s and a few other things that may come up cause lots of stress because things get harder every time. Nobody said life was easy but it doesn’t get easy with time either. The health of the person stars to go down, all the defenses and with the stress it becomes worse. Stress deteriorates more and rapidly the health of the person. We have to rest and then keep going because the stress is going to take over our life if we don’t take a little time for ourselves and our health.
Our health is important and sometimes we think is not a big deal how bad we feel when we see our child having a serious illness. We preoccupy a lot and take care of our children until the end. Some illnesses that can cause a lot of preoccupations are autism, paralysis and cancer. These illnesses can make a parent to give up their work because they need to be with their kid twenty-four hours a day taking care of him/her. The stress of having an appointment, having the correct treatment, getting the child to feel better and comfortable at every moment becomes the first priority. Getting to a place where you feel they treat you and your child well, feeling almost like home becomes the important things. A child comes before us at any moment, seeing their smile even through the hell they must be passing is a reward for a parent. Is the confirmation that you are doing it right, but when you see they are suffering and not making any progress affects your health, your emotions and everything you have going on around yourself.
A child is a blessing even when he/she comes with a disability but the preoccupation of that illness or disability always affects the mother even when you have a normal pregnancy. When a woman gets pregnant at early age the stress hoard her because she might not be ready to have a child on such a young age. A woman who has the perfect age might have a high-risk pregnancy because of the stress she might have at work or her private life. A woman at an old age might also have a high-risk pregnancy because of her age. A pregnant woman has to take vitamins that might be good for her or end up making her feel sick. The thought of having gestational diabetes is stressful for the mother because the majority of pregnant woman craves for candy or something sweet. A woman who might have problems to get pregnant is more likely to have stress and fail at getting pregnant no matter the treatment she goes trough. A pregnancy at any level (pre/during/post) is hard. A woman who gave birth might have post partum depression that in some times comes with the stress of having a needy person that now depends on you. And it becomes worse if the woman doesn’t have any help or is a single mother.
If a woman becomes a single mother deals with a lot of stress, a lot of issues because she won’t have the help she needs to raise her kid. A father also can be a single parent and it is more stressful for them because they need that special touch a woman has to discipline her child. But if both parents have a relationship this relationship can finish when a baby comes. A relationship can end at any moment in life with a partner or a friend and it can give stress to a person. Again, because we kind of depend on that person for some things like simply talk. A relationship of siblings can be damaged through time, a co workers relationship too because of competition or jealousy. We try to not give any importance to these situations but when things change with a person you were close to, it affects your feelings and yes, it gives you a lot of stress.
Another most common cause of stress is the thought if being involved in some dangerous situation. For some people this may cause an adrenaline rush but for some people causes fear and stress. Being in a car accident is a stressful moment. It is a scary moment being hit by a car or hitting a car or some other thing. It is stressful every moment of a fire, a robbery, a fight, a crash or any other thing that can be life threatening. This may be worse if you are with children or alone. Passing through any of these situations can cause a great trauma to a person. It may lead the person to not drive again and be scare to do it alone. It may lead the person in severe cases to never leave the house because is afraid that something will happen. We may think we can go through a lot of different situations and be safe and keep with our lives like nothing happened, but not everybody can go through stress the same way.
If we summarize the common causes of stress between all of these we can say they are money, health and personal relationships. These three sums up every preoccupation a human being may have in their life. The money problem may come with a divorce, the death of a loved one, a pregnancy, a health problem and not finding a job. Our health, our family, our children health also leads to a money and personal relationship stress because we need a support system we may not have. And the absence of a support system, the childhood trauma and the work problems can be the cause of personal relationships. If we had a life without stress we may not be able to appreciate the life we live, the family we have, the friends and every blessing we receive on a daily basis.
