I don’t find convincing this argument because the majority of teenagers always want to follow the fashion and the style of the society, of the majority, to feel good, to feel accepted by others, doing things that maybe they don’t like or don’t want to do, for example wearing clothes that maybe they don’t like it, that they don’t feel comfortable with it. They aren’t mature enough to think independently.

Women’s fashion and style magazines are harmful to female teens because magazines transmit not always good thing, so the fashion an style magazines sometimes influence the way of thinking in the society about how you have to look like and what type of fashion and style will be accepted by the society. It transmit a narrow idea of beauty. So those magazines are changing the mind of female teens from being herself to being a person that society wants. Girls stop eating. That case are the bulimia and the anorexia, because they want to be tiny like the models, or because the society said that they aren’t in fashion, that they look bad or ugly, influenced maybe by the magazines. This is an important issue because it has a connection with the health of teenagers, physically and intellectually, magazines created false body images that girls can’t actually match; then girls feel depressed or suicidal. It is related with the issue that being beautiful means to be skinny.

For me, the body would be enough alone to be maintained and enhanced within the limits and inherent in the human condition capacities. Without overexploitation or daub of external factors to highlight any particular area. "Industries of human vanity" magazines, have cooperated to promote the collective consciousness certain aesthetic standards of absolute reign in our cultural context, the dominant of thinness and eternal youth. In modern societies, especially women working busily planned to build the best ways mind an imaginary body schema, as perfect as inaccessible. Perceptions requirements and discipline imposed by the mandates of the culture of thinness cause in the context of the consumer society socialization of women around certain ideals patterns that give the most positive to the exaltation of certain body shapes attributes. Against the rigor of the schemes internalized, it is easy to imagine that the move away from that can only lead to a deep fear of being discriminated against. So women are daily in front of a body of reference unreal, inaccessible visions of perfection acting so mirage in relation to the daily body. In this phase shift, the multiple forms of appearance contrasting with own feeding behavior, which in the obsessive pursuit of desirable bodies are the trigger for many eating disorders that affect both our society, especially in young women. So that the media in this dimension play an important role for potential inherent logic and dynamic of the advertising strategy of appealing to stereotypes in search of preferences for consumption. Extremes, as in everything, and in this specific case of the human body, are neither good nor recommended. Today is extended a postmodern attitude is inclined to the exaltation of human body shapes. We live inserts at the time of the image, where it seems that only matters what you see, sad but true.
