- In how many Olympic games have you participated?

I have participated in 5 Olympic games.

- Oh, and how many Olympic medals have you won?

I have won 28 medals.

- How many records have you ever broke?

I lost the count and there have been Olympic, US and international records. For example: Been the youngest american male swimmer to compete at Olympics

- Have you ever won a special award?

Yes, i have won the World swimmer of the year seven times. And i have received the American swimmer of the year nine times.

- How long have you practiced this sport?

I have practiced swimming for about 24 years.

- In all this years,have you felt that your performance is increasing or decreasing?

I have felt that I have kept my level.

- Have you ever been arrested?

I was arrested in 2014 because of driving under the influence of alcochol. I apologize all my fans for what happened.

- Have you ever thought about leaving the swimming pools?

I did, after London games I announced my retirement but I was back for the Rio Olympic Games. Now I am decided to leave the pools, is time to spend time with my family.

- Have you ever been the captain of the team at a Olympic game?

Yes, i was chosen to be the captain of the 2016 US Olympic team.

- Have you ever gone to a Olympic game and return without any medal?

On my first Olympic game at Sidney i didn´t win any medal.

- Have you ever thought on making something to promote swimming?

Yes, in 2008 i started my own foundation wich consisits on promoting swimming and healthier lifestyles.
