Conclusión

El transhumanismo es una corriente que no solo abarca el ámbito científico, sino también los ámbitos filosófico y ético. No obstante, actualmente se encuentra en una etapa muy joven y sin ser desarrollada completamente por las limitaciones tecnológicas actuales, muchos científicos y organizaciones éticas y de salud se encuentran debatiendo “qué tan lejos” se puede llegar con estas tecnologías sin causar problemas sociales o éticos como la eugenesia que es muy polémica al dia de hoy y en lugar de esto enfocarse al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida humana global. Si bien la mayoría de estas tecnologías están fuera de nuestro alcance por el momento, hay muchas otras que se están desarrollando actualmente que gracias al apoyo público y de organizaciones privadas se están invirtiendo más recursos en estos para un desarrollo aun mas rapido. Solamente el tiempo y la situación social humana que se tenga en un futuro responderá a las preguntas planteadas para ver si el transhumanismo será algo que se buscará como objetivo de la raza humana o en cambio, será algo que se rechazara como no ético e inmoral, actualmente los argumentos en contra y a favor son más que nada especulativos y no se puede tener una postura correcta con la poca información empírica que se tiene sobre el tema
