Polyethylene is a polymer of the family of the olefinic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly polymers (such as the polypropylene), or the polyethylenes. Its formula is ( -CH2-CH2- ). It is a polimerotermoplastico composed of repetitive units of ethylene. It is designated as HDPE (by its acronym in english, High Density Polyethylene) or HDPE (high density polyethylene).
