However, there is a moral and ethical issue in gambling. Gambling can be highly addictive. Gambling addicts lose all their money and go to bankruptcy. Moreover, they try to get money at any cost in order to keep their addiction which leads them to organized crime. Family members and friends are also affected since they represent a source of money for gamblers. For these reasons, it is still a debate whether or not gambling is a correct economic and suitable development instrument.

Business, companies and enterprises can also be affected from gambling, since if one of their employees is a gambler, he or she will suffer from poor efficiency, fraud, and time skipped from job. Family and friend links are also extremely affected because of gambling, since in order to gamble a person has to spend plenty of time and money gambling. Gamblers start lying, and fighting with their relatives and close ones who try to help them or even control.

Gambling is constantly argued as a way of entertainment for people to spend their free time. Moreover, gambling places can appeal new investments, business and enterprises. However, if gambling is not controlled and regulated, it can become and addiction that can affect every person in any community, neighbor, and city. It is really easy for people to become dependent on gambling, since it always gives the gambler an incentive. In this case, it is a financial reward.

According to the Deseret News, “it's basic statistics. The games are all structured so that, over time, it's mathematically impossible for the house to lose.” (Deseretnews.com, 2013) Therefore, it is crucial that every person who gets involved in gambling be aware of the dangers, threats and costs of this game that presents the idea of easy money which is what everyone wants, but in reality, it usually the middle and lower class the ones who are always affected by this fake notion.
